(...) So fügt er heute bei seinen Aquarellen und colors eine Farbschicht nach der anderen über den Malgrund. Mit breitem Strich häuft er bis zu zwanzig/dreißig Schichten extrem dünnflüssiger, lasierender Farbe aufeinander. Dieser sich langsam hinziehende Prozess des Malens hat die Eigenschaft einer behutsamen Allmählichkeit. Er ist getragen von konzentrierter Ruhe und verleiht den Bildern eine faszinierende Tiefe, die wahrnehmbar ist als Ruhe,#als Konzentration, als Kontemplation, als Reflexion.
